Traveling from New York City

If flying into either LGA or JFK airports, the best way to get to New Haven is to take a train or bus to Grand Central Terminal and ride the Metro-North railroad to New Haven. The total cost for a one-way trip is around $30.

There is Airtrain and Subway service from JFK to Grand Central but the bus service is much less stressful, especially with luggage.

If flying into EWR, take a NJ Transit train to Penn Station and then the Subway to Grand Central.

EWR to Penn Station

Penn Station to Grand Central:

• Take the 1,2, or 3 train from 34 Street - Penn Station station heading Uptown
• Transfer to the S train at Times Square
